BRIKT Is Taking Its Next Step

BRIKT is taking its next step towards becoming a community project.

When I first started sharing the idea behind BRIKT, I had no idea how quickly people would connect with it.

The messages, encouragement, and excitement from people who love building just as much as I do has been incredible.

Because of that support, BRIKT is now taking its next step.

We are in the process of registering BRIKT as a Community Interest Company (CIC).

A CIC is a special type of organisation created to benefit the community. It means the focus of BRIKT will always be on bringing people together through creativity, imagination, and shared building experiences.

The goal is to create welcoming spaces where people can come together to build, create, and connect. From community build sessions to events and creative challenges, BRIKT is all about the joy of building together.

LEGO® has always been a big part of my life. From building with my brothers when we were young, to building with my son today, it has always been something that brings people together.

More recently, building has taken on an even deeper meaning for me. Since being diagnosed with Parkinson’s, LEGO® has become something that helps keep my motor skills active and gives me a space to focus and relax.

That is part of the inspiration behind BRIKT.

If something as simple as building with bricks can help people connect, relax, and create together, then it feels like something worth sharing with the community.

There is still a lot to build.

But brick by brick, BRIKT is starting to take shape.
