Something Bigger Than Us

When I first started building the BRIKT library, it was just that… an idea coming to life, one set at a time.

I was focused on the practical things.
Choosing sets.
Organising builds.
Figuring out how it would all work.

But somewhere along the way, something shifted.

People started reaching out.

Not just with interest, but with genuine excitement.
Messages of support.
Offers to help.
People asking how they could be part of it.

And that’s when I started to see it coming together…

Because this was always the reason behind BRIKT.

Not just a place to build LEGO®,
but something built around people.

A space where you can sit down, switch off, and just build.
Where conversations happen naturally, without pressure.
Where every build quietly gives something back in the background.

What changed wasn’t the idea…
it was seeing others connect with it too.

Then came the first sponsors.

People and businesses choosing sets.
Linking them to charities that meant something to them.
Trusting BRIKT to turn something simple into something impactful.

That’s when it really started to feel real.

BRIKT was no longer just something I was building…
It was something the community was building with me.

And that changes everything.

This is only the beginning, but one thing is already clear…
BRIKT is bigger than I ever imagined.

Building the BRIKT Library

When I started BRIKT, I had an idea.

A big one. A meaningful one. But still… just an idea.

Over the past few days, I’ve been building out the BRIKT library. What began as a blank page has slowly turned into a growing collection of LEGO® sets, each one carefully added with its own details, sponsors, and a connection to a chosen charity.

What I love most is that it isn’t finished.

It’s evolving.

Every new set we add creates another opportunity.

Another moment for someone to sit down, build, and switch off from everything else.

Another way to support local charities through something simple, creative, and accessible.

Seeing it all come together, both visually and technically, has been incredibly rewarding. It’s one thing to have an idea, but it’s something else entirely to watch it take shape and become something real.

And along the way, I rediscovered something I didn’t expect…

I’ve fallen back in love with writing PHP and CSS.

There’s something so satisfying about starting with nothing and gradually building something structured, something functional, and something that genuinely serves a purpose.

For a long time, I’ve been focused on creating websites for others.

This feels different.

This feels like building something that matters to me.

BRIKT isn’t just about LEGO®.

It’s about creating space, connection, and something positive for the community.

And now, for the first time, it’s starting to feel real.

And this is only the beginning.

BRIKT Featured in the Andover Advertiser

We are incredibly proud to share that BRIKT has been featured in the Andover Advertiser, marking an exciting milestone in our journey as a growing community initiative.

What started as a simple idea to bring people together through LEGO® has quickly grown into something much bigger.

BRIKT was created to provide a welcoming space where individuals, families, and groups can come together to build, connect, and take time out from the pressures of everyday life. At its core, BRIKT focuses on supporting mental wellbeing, encouraging creativity, and strengthening community connections.

The feature in the Andover Advertiser highlights the vision behind BRIKT, including the creation of a community LEGO® library, supported by local businesses, organisations, and individuals.

Through our sponsorship model, each LEGO® set is funded by a supporter, and every time that set is booked, a contribution from the booking fee goes to a chosen charity. This allows BRIKT to create a lasting impact, where every build supports both the community and important causes.

Being recognised by a local publication is a meaningful moment for BRIKT, as it reflects the growing support and interest from the community.

Local support plays a vital role in what we are building.

This feature helps raise awareness of BRIKT and the positive impact it aims to create, from improving mental wellbeing to providing inclusive, accessible experiences for people of all ages.

We would like to thank the Andover Advertiser for sharing our story, and everyone who has supported BRIKT so far.

This is just the beginning, and we are excited to continue building something special for the community.

Jordan Wylie MBE Supports BRIKT and the Next Phase of Community Impact

We are incredibly proud to welcome Jordan Wylie MBE as one of the early supporters of BRIKT. His support represents not only a sponsorship, but a shared belief in creating meaningful impact within communities.

Jordan Wylie is known for his dedication to helping others, from his humanitarian work to his ongoing support of initiatives that make a real difference.

Through his sponsorship of BRIKT, and in support of the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK), we have been able to expand the BRIKT LEGO® library with additional sets for the community to enjoy.

These sets will be available to book and build as part of our growing programme, offering a space for people to connect, focus, and take time out from the pace of everyday life.

Each time one of these sponsored sets is booked, a contribution from the booking fee will go towards supporting young people through ACCT UK.

This means every build not only creates a positive experience for those taking part, but also contributes to opportunities and support for the next generation.

BRIKT is about more than LEGO®. It is about creating a space where people feel welcome, supported, and connected.

Having the support of individuals like Jordan, who are committed to making a difference, strengthens what BRIKT stands for and helps us grow that impact further.

We are truly grateful to Jordan Wylie for his support and for being part of the BRIKT journey from an early stage.

This collaboration reflects everything BRIKT aims to achieve. Building experiences that bring people together while giving back in a meaningful way.

If you would like to support BRIKT or sponsor a LEGO® set, we would love to hear from you.

BRIKT is Now Officially a Community Interest Company

We are proud to share that BRIKT is now officially registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC). This marks an important step in our journey and strengthens our commitment to the community.

Becoming a CIC means that BRIKT is formally recognised as a business created to benefit the community.

Everything we do is built around creating positive impact. From providing a welcoming space for people to come together, to supporting mental wellbeing and giving back through charitable contributions.

Our LEGO® library, sponsored sets, and community events are all designed with this purpose at the centre.

As a CIC, any surplus we generate is reinvested into BRIKT. This allows us to grow the library, improve experiences, and continue supporting local charities through our booking model.

This step also opens the door for future opportunities, including partnerships and funding that will help us expand our reach and impact even further.

BRIKT is not just about building LEGO®.

It is about creating a safe, inclusive space where people can connect, take time out, and feel part of something positive.

Becoming a CIC ensures that this purpose is protected and remains at the heart of everything we do.

This is a proud moment for BRIKT and an exciting step forward.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far. We are only just getting started.

If you would like to support BRIKT, sponsor a set, or get involved, we would love to hear from you.

Andover Offices Becomes One of BRIKT’s First Sponsors

We are proud to share that Andover Offices is one of the very first organisations to support BRIKT. Their sponsorship marks an important milestone as we begin building our LEGO® library for the community.

Thanks to the support from Andover Offices, we have been able to purchase four brand new LEGO® sets, which are now part of the growing BRIKT library.

These sets will be available for individuals, families, and community groups to book and build. Each build creates an opportunity for people to slow down, connect, and enjoy time together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

What makes this sponsorship even more meaningful is the impact it continues to have beyond the build itself.

Every time one of these sponsored sets is booked, a contribution from the booking fee will go to The Abel Foundation, a charity supporting families and children facing serious illness.

This means that each build does more than bring people together. It also helps support those who need it most.

BRIKT is built on the idea that small moments can make a big difference. Whether it is taking time out to focus, building alongside others, or simply having a space to unwind, these experiences matter.

With the support of organisations like Andover Offices, we are able to create those moments while also giving back to the community.

We are incredibly grateful to Andover Offices for believing in what BRIKT is building from the very beginning.
