Over the past few weeks I have been quietly working on something that has been many years in the making. A project inspired by a lifelong love of LEGO®, the joy it brings when people build together, and the creativity that comes from a simple box of bricks.
That project is BRIKT.
BRIKT is about bringing people together through building. It is about imagination, creativity, problem solving, and community. Whether you are a lifelong LEGO® fan, someone rediscovering it as an adult, or a parent watching your children create something amazing, there is something special about building together.
Right now BRIKT is in its early stages, but the idea is simple.
Create experiences where people can build, collaborate, and enjoy the process of creating something from nothing.
This could include community builds, creative challenges, collaborative displays, and events where people can simply sit down, relax, and build.
One of the things that has already become clear is how many people have LEGO® tucked away in cupboards, lofts, and storage boxes. Sets that were once loved but are no longer being used.
So as BRIKT begins to take shape, I will also be reaching out to the local community to see if anyone would like to donate LEGO® that could be used for future builds and community projects.
Every brick helps build something bigger.
This website will follow the journey as BRIKT grows. I will be sharing builds, ideas, community projects, and hopefully some very exciting collaborations along the way.
This is just the beginning.
And like every great build, it starts with the first brick.
